Happy 100 Years of Black History! This video was meant to be completed last month (February), but it took me a while to get everything together.

This is a process of me re-drawing my Rainbow Harlem Renaissance piece from 2022 (during my time at UArts), and showing where I improved in some areas, to explaining the fashion of the characters.

Create This Book Speed-Drawings! (Without Thinking + Advertisement)

The footage in this video was filmed in April of last year, completing the last handful of the prompts from the first Create This Book by Moriah Elizabeth.

The first was to create without thinking, and I kind of broke the rules on that one as I drew something from an existing dream I had one night, and the other prompt shown was to create an advertisement, so I drew an ad for an energy drink product I called Solar Eclipse, from an assignment we had in my freshman year of high school (10 years ago). Hopefully I can return to the idea later on, and make improved mock-ups of the drinks.

Create This Book- Favorite (+OC story concept)

This video was filmed in October, from when I was completing the last handful of Create This Book 1 prompts. This prompt said to Create Your Favorite, and even though there is another spread I really can't top (the nostalgia page, coming later), I wanted to include one of my favorite groups of OCs, my boy band Cyrano. In this video, I'll be giving a little bit of information on the boys themselves, and an overview of their story. This isn't a full character breakdown, as this was more focused towards me explaining their story. I'll probably redo this video in the future to incorporate more of the boys individual info, who knows.

I'm SUPER late to this, but here is my take on the DMX Challenge! (As much as I don't like this song or the original title...)

Unfortunately, nobody really engaged in my initial poll on Instagram between real character cameos vs original designs 🙄 but original got one more vote, so for the most part, these were what popped in my head as I heard the girls' names. I also experimented with handwriting for their individual signatures.

Now the uploads are out of order! I hate when stuff like this happens. My audio recording lines got abruptly cut off during editing, and I didn't notice for some reason??

These latest pieces are continuations of those Clowntober pieces I did last year (October 2024), where I was drawing clowns every day for the month of October. This piece was from a series of 4 of those drawings where I drew clown musicians, each with different instruments, music genres, and color schemes. These latest pieces are continuations of those Clowntober pieces I did last year (October 2024), where I drew clowns every day fror the whole month of October, this piece was from a series of 4 of these drawings I made aftewards with 4 musician clowns representing different music genres. This is Larenz, my Jazz clown who is depicted playing the cornet. You will be seeing the process of that speed-draw, and something experimental I attempted with his makeup at the end.

The next few pieces are revisions of the continuations of those Clowntober pieces I did last year (October 2024), where I was drawing clowns everyday for the month of October. This piece was from a series of 4 of those drawings where I drew clown musicians, each with a different instrument, music genre, and color scheme. This is Kadai, my R&B/Soul clown, playing piano, in a formation inspired by illustrator Frank Morrison. Her aesthetic was also inspired off of the VH1 Soul bumpers from back in the day. This video includes her initial drawing video, a portrait I made of her, and the updated version of her piano piece.

I'm excited to unveil my latest creation, "Connected," a 20x24 canvas piece that takes abstract art to new heights by incorporating an innovative use of hot glue and metallic colors. This artwork is all about the vibrant interplay of hues and textures, highlighted by the addition of four 8x11 sized canvases that are glued to the larger 20x24 canvas, creating a striking two-dimensional effect. The blending of colors with metallic effects results in a vivid hue that dances across the canvas, further accentuated by silver painted highlights tracing through the composition, offering a dynamic presentation that invites viewers to engage in its visual dialogue.
