Looking for a traditional herbal remedy to support occasional aches, muscle soreness, joint discomfort, and overall wellness? In this week’s Tidbit Tuesday, we’re sharing a simple DIY herbal decoction made with black cohosh, white willow bark, and celery seed. These herbs have been used in traditional herbal practices for generations and are easy to prepare at home.

Ingredients
2 cups filtered water
1 teaspoon dried white willow bark
1 teaspoon lightly crushed celery seed
½ teaspoon dried black cohosh root

Directions
1. Lightly crush the celery seeds.
2. Add all herbs and the water to a small saucepan.
3. Bring to a gentle boil.
4. Reduce to a low simmer and cover.
5. Simmer for 15–20 minutes.
6. Remove from the heat and let steep, covered, for 10 minutes.
7. Strain through a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
8. Enjoy warm. Store any remaining decoction in a sealed glass container in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.
