Abused women are losing custody of their children simply because the father has more financial means. This system often fails victims, leaving them without justice or their families. #familylaw

Domestic Violence and ICE threats

Thu, 15 Oct 2026 14:01:36 +0000

Partners are using immigration status as a weapon, threatening deportation if victims speak out. This fear silences survivors and prevents them from seeking help, creating a cycle of control and isolation. It's a dangerous tactic that leaves individuals believing there's no escape.

Discover how to position yourself as a listener and learner. It doesn't matter who you're working with; your own positionality matters. Acknowledge their expertise and rich tradition, and then simply sit and learn. That's how genuine partnerships are built. #partnership #learning #listeningskills #collaboration #personalgrowth

Mathematics Originated with Black Peoples

Sat, 10 Oct 2026 02:01:16 +0000

It's heartbreaking to hear the myth that Black children can't do math. Mathematics originated with Black people and is deeply embedded in our DNA. We are continuing a legacy of complex mathematics that baffles even Europeans. The ingenuity found in parts of Africa is so advanced, some struggle to explain it without invoking extraterrestrial intervention. #blackexcellence #mathislife #africanhistory #stem #legacyofmath

They are holding back our children

Sat, 10 Oct 2026 01:53:04 +0000

The system has specific mechanisms preventing children from accessing opportunities and achieving their full potential. While the problem is acknowledged and debated, there's a lack of genuine desire to solve it, suggesting a focus on maintaining the status quo rather than enacting real change. #systemicinequality #educationreform #socialjustice #opportunitygap #statusquo

I Recruit WINNERS, Not Just Scorers

Coach Nate Georgeton explains what UCLA looks for under Mick Cronin: winners — not just scorers.

He shares how JoJo Philon made the point perfectly while playing at Montverde — turning a mistake into a hustle play with a chase-down block. For Nate, toughness, effort, unselfishness, and winning habits matter as much as what shows up in the scoring column.

Coach Nate Georgeton explains why you can’t skip steps on the way to bigger opportunities in basketball.

For Nate, the video room wasn’t glamorous — but it was where he learned the game, put in the work, earned trust, and prepared himself for the next role. Every step mattered.

The program was created in honor of John and his wife’s daughter, Naira, who passed away shortly after birth.
