While traveling on the train to downtown Chicago, looking out the window I had a thought. The scene reminded me of a Leslie Odom, Jr. song titled "Foggy", so I had an idea. Thinking of the song I wanted to capture what the song would convey, at that moment, peering out the train window. Something along the lines of what Gordon Parks would photograph but in video form.
Most Greatest: A Poem
She’s my most precious prize and my greatest irritation.
Oxymoronic, no, just what nature wrought.
You know, the aftermath of disobedience.
Credence given, this off balanced system.
Righteousness pleads for a soul in need.
Heavy the weight, only if chosen to carry.
Redemption’s nigh, How to surrender?
History holds, a compressive force, this nature.
Yet, love.
