Stop These Parasocial Relationships with "Influencers" | MaryJane Byarm Scammer |
MaryJane Byarm uploaded 2 new videos over the past month without any sort of response to her allegations. She's continuing to travel to other countries, secure brand/sponsor deals, and basically live her life on camera with no issues. This will be my last video covering MaryJane Byarm's scams, unless she drops a response or apology video.
She has been exposed by a plethora of women the past few months. She is not the first scammer, and she definitely will not be the last.
Over 20 victims have claimed that MaryJane scammed them for thousands of dollars, without any hope of receiving it back. Now that her lies have been escalated to hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube, she has sunk to the shadows of her scheming walls.
Unfortunately, this is an all too common tale of social media influencers using their clout to prey on innocent followers. While you will never truly know what someone's intentions are, there are several red flags to pick up that may provide a better chance at protecting yourself.
In this video, I will provide my reaction to what's been going on with this story, as well as what you should avoid when sending money to an influencer.
