Shedeur Sanders has been named the Week 3 NFLPA Community MVP after visiting Caledonia Elementary School and Kirk Middle School in East Cleveland. Sanders donated 500 backpacks filled with school supplies, shared advice with students, signed autographs, and helped make the day special with pizza and ice cream.

With September recognized as Attendance Awareness Month, Sanders encouraged students to keep showing up and taking part in their education. His work with young people also includes a free youth football camp for Ohio children. Last year, he organized the Garden Valley Fun Fest after a fire displaced more than 100 residents from a local apartment complex.

To recognize his community work, the NFLPA will donate $10,000 to Sanders’ Legendary Impact Foundation. Fans can also support the foundation through the donation page mentioned in the NFLPA announcement. Sanders and this season’s other Community MVPs are eligible for the Alan Page Community Award, which includes an additional $100,000 donation.
