Did you know The Black Tube is a non profit?
Why TheBlackTube Is a Nonprofit
TheBlackTube was created to empower creators, protect family-friendly content, and expand opportunity for underrepresented voices in the digital world. At a time when many platforms are controlled by corporate interests and algorithms designed primarily for profit, we believed there needed to be a different path—one where creators and communities come first.
By operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, TheBlackTube is structured so that our mission always takes priority over shareholder profits. This means every decision we make is guided by impact, community benefit, and long-term sustainability rather than short-term financial gain. Our goal is to build a platform that uplifts families, supports creative expression, and creates meaningful opportunities for people who often lack access to the tools and resources needed to succeed in digital media.
Being a nonprofit also allows TheBlackTube to partner with schools, community organizations, and educational programs that share our vision. Through these partnerships we can provide training, workshops, creator grants, and youth programs that help the next generation learn storytelling, media production, and technology skills. Instead of focusing only on revenue, we focus on education, empowerment, and community development.
