Kyrie Irving received plenty of backlash during the 2020 NBA season regarding his work ethic. Though, he was confident in stating that there are bigger issues than "just basketball" that was polluting his mind.
We've seen numerous athletes and popular media icons speak up on mental health issues. Luckily, we are seeing a rise in the acceptance of mental health being a true necessity of focus in the community; especially the black community.
