I only saw a few minutes of the video and I agree that is does nothing for positive stereotypes for our people. Very bad idea. MLK should have produced more meaningful content with what we are experiencing with our current Government and the Erasure of our History, our Rights, cuts to so many programs that hurt the black community. MLK day came at a much needed time to give us hope and strength to continue this fight against Racism and this current Administration. It was a senseless, thoughtless and very Disrespectful to the Memory of the Dr. King and all the people who died so that we could obtain the Rights that we are fighting for now. That can be seen at any strip club any day of the week. Another incident that create additional negative stereotypes for our community.

The BLM slogan is well intentioned, the organization itself is funded and founded by white people. While this seems to be like a performative gimmick.. white people find dancing and art as liberating (I can understand and agree with that) but I don't see the specific agenda for twerking on the white house to bring change for black lives...
