This was a performance rendered at a second competition after being awarded it in the first compition.
The work was written at the hands of a 17 year old coloured boy in South Africa who never received recognition in his own country for being a coloured composer.
It was written for children and the composers pupil at that time of 2003. It was difficult years where exposure and celebrating black and coloured triumphs was a distant luxury.
Today these works of this young boy is winning trophies and accolades.
