"I Can Still Play In The NBA" Sean May's Stunted Growth Story: What Happened?
Sean May. May was down the line of a long list of below the rim centers that although lacked the athleticism you’d want from your 5 position, he had elite feel for the game, basketball iq, and finesse rarely seen that was able to propel him to being one of the top recruits in his class. He was a star for his Indiana high school, but became an even bigger one in college at North Carolina. Over his 3 years in Chapel Hill, May couldn’t have had things turn out any better. But these fortunate occurrences couldn’t overshadow the fact his body was just not meant for high level basketball like the NBA, and maybe his talent level and eating habits weren’t either. He never played much more than a college season in the NBA and some consider him one of the biggest bust of all time. Here’s why.
