Obie Trice had the flame when he came out in the early 2000s. Unfortunately, his label had one of the hottest rappers of all time in 50 Cent dropping in the same year. 50 wouldn't let up on the industry and Obie was one of the rappers that were caught with a career stray. He dropped his first classic the same year as 50 and still went platinum. To me that was a classic hip hop album. He dropped his second straight classic, but by that time his infrastructure was crumbling. He would have label issues with Shady before starting his own label. What else happened that Stunted his Growth?
